The French obsession for beautiful lingerie is legendary.
I’m sure we’ve all read statistics about the percentage of French income spent on new lingerie each year.
And these legends are certainly supported by the sheer number of lingerie boutiques you see in every city and town in France not to mention the number of parcels from these boutiques being carried by women of all ages on French streets.
Apparently this love of lingerie feeds into a French woman’s ‘joie de vivre’ and confidence. I’ve also heard that it helps them to look better in their clothes because properly fitting lingerie provides a better shape for outer layers.
No wonder French women look both confident and stylish.
So to Frenchify Your Friday this week, why not follow the French woman’s lead and buy yourself some new lingerie?
Or – at the very least – wear your very best lingerie.
No one needs to know but you.
And who is going to say no to a little more ‘joie de vivre’? Not me!
